Day 10. 21 day challenge. Cheeseless

The stuffed mushrooms came out perfectly. They were more garlicky than I intended so I had to pop some post-dinner TUMS but it was worth it.

Recipe: ground chicken, basil, garlic, oregano, onions, chopped fresh green beans (no canned grossness), diced tomatoes. Sautee all of that in a skillet. While that is cooking, preheat the oven to 350 and put portabella mushrooms in for 30 minutes. When mushrooms are done, stuff with skillet goodness and pop back into the oven for 10 minutes. VOILA! No dairy. Feels Italian. Super feeling. I served this with salad greens and a glass of red wine.

Spin class yesterday was awesome and I got to check another box off the BINGO card. I talked with the owner about our upcoming SWEATworking event we're doing for my book on 11/16. It's going to be fun. The link to sign up for a bike and info on it will come out later this week.

Boxing class today.

Tonight will be a challenge because I will be surrounded by cheese. I have a book reading tonight under the stars on the patio of The Wine Pub .

We will drink wine on the patio and then once an hour do a quick Q/A about my book and I will do a reading. I am hoping I'll be so distracted selling books and talking to people that cheese won't even enter my mind. Maybe I should look at the menu first? I will definitely eat a big meal before going because I won't have time to eat there because I'll be talking. I will also DEFINITELY have some delicious wine. I hope my teeth don't turn purple. When I drink red wine, after 2 sips, it looks like a made-out with a blood-sucking vampire. If I had a publicist he/she probably would not like this look for me. Since I don't, it's game one--Purple Teeth Party 2021!

Morning Meditation: Abundance. There is abundance everywhere, just look for it.

Oh, and for those of you asking, my book is called Sales Tales: The Hustle, Humor and Lessons from a Life in Sales.
